About Ned

If you think the world can barely handle one Lasso, well, hold onto your biscuits, because here comes Ned Lasso—Ted's younger, equally mustachioed, and just-as-enthusiastic brother.

Growing up in small-town Kansas, Ned was always the "hype man" of the Lasso family. Whether it was getting Ted pumped up for a big game or convincing their grandma she could bake the best darn peach cobbler in the county, Ned had a gift—making people believe in themselves.

While Ted found his calling on the soccer pitch, Ned started as a high school football coach in Texas, where he quickly became known less for his X's and O's and more for his game-changing pep talks. Players left his locker room speeches feeling like they could run through a brick wall—or at least negotiate a really solid detour around it.
